During a Sunday stroll through the heart of Aiguines village, we had the wonderful surprise of attending the opening day of the "Chat Bleu" painting gallery/studio located in the heart of the Provençal village of Aiguines. We were the second visitors to the gallery.
It is wonderful to see this village gradually fill with artistic life around art, to see workshops open year-round and galleries/shops for responsible tourism with quality items.
We therefore entered without hesitation and met the artist who welcomes us.

Visit to the “Le chat Bleu” gallery
A colorful gallery, full of paintings and canvas filling all the space.
The paintings are organized around several themes, allowing to guide the journey:
- At the entrance on the right: All paintings referring to the region, the Gorges du Verdon, Aiguines and Provence
- On the left: Essentials, with African animals and landscapes
- Further along: More abstract paintings with more or less bold colors.
You will find something for every taste, and only part of the collection is displayed in this gallery.
The workshop at the heart of the Gallery
At the heart of the new "Le Chat Bleu" gallery in Aiguines, an immersive experience awaits you: a visit to the integrated painting workshop. This place of vital creation where art takes form offers a fascinating glimpse into the artistic backstage. Visitors can admire an impressive reserve of canvases ready to be displayed, as well as a range of painting accessories, all testifying to the artist's passion and creative process. Central and accessible, the workshop located in the middle of the gallery is not just a workspace; it is a stage where the artist creates and interacts directly with visitors, allowing them to feel the artistic dynamism in real time and participate in the cultural buzz of the place.
Opening hours and location
The gallery is located in the heart of Aiguines just opposite the main square.
Hours: 10am to 12:30pm and 3pm to 7pm
